CP Standard Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S plays an important role in both the animal feed and the poultry industries with its state of the art technology and its high quality, and it continues to positively contribute to the Country's economy. CP Group is an international organization with major investments in broiler chick, poultry and cattle feeds, and poultry and processed meat products in many parts of the world. For the past 24 years, the CP Group has been steadily growing in Turkey and globally.
CP Standard Gıda San. Ve Tic. A.Ş was only active in the area of feed production up to 1991, at which time is started poultry production after launching its first slaughterhouse in Ingol. The opening of the first slaughter house at Inegol in 1991 was followed by the establishment of highly sanitary poultry breeding facilities and hatcheries in Izmir, Inegol and Bilecik for the production of broiler chicks.
The contractual system offered to over 1000 poultry owners in Inegöl, Eskişehir, Bursa, Adapazarı, Bolu, Adana, Izmir, Erzincan and Erzurum who were producing highly sanitary broiler chick accelerated broiler chicken production.
Today, 280 thousand chickens are slaughtered daily in 5 slaughterhouses located in the regions of İnegöl, Osmaneli, Turgutlu, Abant and Adana. Furthermore, CP is the first chicken production company in the poultry sector that owns high quality breeding parent facilities
In 2009, CP company enjoyed 9% of the market share, with 117 thousand high quality chicken productions; in 2010, it was one of the three leading companies, carrying out 125 thousand tons of poultry meat production.
Today, CP Standard Gıda San. Ve Tic. A.Ş provides service with its 2800 employees and distributes freshly cut poultry meat products inside cold chains to about 200 vendors at consumption points spread throughout the entire country at main sale depots located in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Bursa, Denizli, Antalya and Trakya, using its well trained and expert sales representatives.
Furthermore, CP company offers its fresh poultry products to consumers under the most sanitary conditions in over 250 private retail stores and national chain stores such as Real, Metro, Migros, Şok, Tansaş, Özdilek and Tesco.
CP Company exported products valued at $12 million in 2010, including 2000 tons of chicken feet, 400 tons of processed products and 10 million eggs.
CP Company is among the first 14 food companies and among the 500 large industrial organizations in Turkey to have received ISO certification.
