PURCHASING AND ACCEPTANCE OF RAW MATERIAL

The raw material required for production is  purchased and forwarded to the company by the purchasing department in accordance with  company quality standards. After the raw material reaches the company, the laboratory department takes samples from the material in different locations of the tuck and these samples are compared. The physical and chemical analyses of the sample are carried out. If the received raw material is compatible with our standards, it is stored in proper raw material storage. Following the storage of the raw material, another sample is taken and physical and chemical analyses are carried out for a second time.

LABORATORY AND QUALITY CONTROL

One laboratory and laboratory staff are found in every plant of the CP Company.

The laboratories not only control the compatibility of the raw material in accordance with  company standards, but also help the company to figure out the stocking methods for raw material, proper stocking duration, methods of use of the stocked material and their amounts. They also save one sample of every product delivered to the client and stocked in the storage rooms for three months. The laboratories control the storage method, duration and condition of the material and report these matters to the company. The laboratories cooperate with the company in areas  such as gunny bags, tags, premix, threads, pallets, general condition of the machinery, general cleanliness and condition of the storage rooms, general status of the company, and training of the operators and employees and they also play an important role in producing products compatible with our standards.

RAW MATERIAL STORAGE AND USE

Bagged and bulk raw material stored in stock areas and raw material depots are moved to dosage depot by raw material operator using scoops and carriers. Dosage depots shall be filled when their content gets down to 30%.

DOSING AND GRINDING

The material stored in dosage depots is taken after it is automatically weighed by the dosage scale, in sequence, according to the formula amounts entered in the dosing computer. The products that are weighed and prepared in 2 ton batches pass through a magnet to remove any metal parts that might be inside the batch by using carriers and then they are sent to a mixer by carriers after being grinded by grinder.

MIXING AND PALLETIZING

The grinded product is mixed in the mixer for 4 minutes and premix or oil is added to the product produce powder or liquid. After these 4 minutes are completed, the product is sent to syrup mixer if the product is cattle feed. Syrup is added to the product in syrup mixer. The product is sent to its regular depots, if it is supposed to be produced in powder form. The product is sent to pallet unit, if the product is supposed to be in pallet or grain form. The product is heat treated with steam in conditioner and made into pallet form using pallet press. The pallet form product is then sent to cooler.

After the product is cooled in the cooler it is sent to product depots, if the final form needs to be palleted. If the final form of the product is supposed to be grain, the product is broken down in the crumble machine and then it is sent to the product depot.

PACKING AND LOADING

The products stored in the depot are weighed using packing scales and are loaded in 50 Kg batches into bags and then placed on the trucks and delivered to the clients, or they are stored in proper storage rooms.
