PURCHASE AND ADMISSION OF RAW MATERIAL
In accordance with the demand of the production, purchasing department carries out the necessary research and buys the raw material that complies with the quality standards set out by the company. Then the raw material is delivered to the mill.
When the raw material arrives to the mill, samples are taken from the different points over the truck by the department of laboratory and these samples are mixed. Physical and chemical analysis of the sample is conducted. If samples conform with the standards, the raw material is moved to the appropriate warehouse. While the raw material is being placed into the warehouse, samples are taken again, and  physical and chemical analysis are conducted.

LABORATORY AND QUALITY CHECK
In each mill of the CP company, a laboratory and its staff are existent within the enterprise. Apart from admitting the raw material and checking its compliance, laboratories assist the enterprise with the method of stockpiling the raw material, the duration of the stockpiled raw material, and the conditions, the way of usage and the quantity of raw material in stock. Furthermore, laboratories take samples from the feed at each stage of feed production, check their compliance with quality standards, and finally help the mill detect the products that do not meet the quality standards. One sample from the each product delivered to the customers and one from those kept in stock are also preserved in the laboratory environment for 3 months. On the one hand, they continually check the method in which the products are preserved in the stock, on the other hand laboratories monitor the duration and condition of the products. In the end they present reports about their assessments to the mill. They also cooperate with the mill on the general conditions of the sacks, labels, thread, premixes, pallete and machines,on the general conditons and hygiene of the warehouse and the mill, and finally on the training of the operators and workers. As a result, laboratories play an important role in attaining the products that are in line with our standards.

STOCKPILING AND USAGE OF THE RAW MATERIAL
Raw materials in bulk and in sacks which are kept in raw material stockpiling areas and raw material warehouses are carried by the raw material operator using wheel loaders and forklifts into the dosage deposits. The occupancy rate in the dosage deposits is kept at a minimum level of 30%

DOSAGING AND GRINDING
In proportionate with the amounts in the formulas that are registered into the computer, raw materials, moved into the dosage deposits on the dosage weighing machine, are taken by the dosaging computer after weighing each respectively.  Products, which are weighed, are separated into consignments of 2 tons and are exposed to the magnet with forklifts so that they can be removed from the possible metal particles. Then they are ground in the mill and carried to the mixer by forklifts.

MIXING AND PELLETIZING
The product, carried to the mixer after it is ground in the mill, is mixed for 4 minutes in the mixer. During this process premixes and oil in mash and liquid form are also mixed. When the 4 minute is over, if the product is cattle feed, it is sent to the molasses mixer. In the molasses mixer the molasses is added to the product. If the product is manufactured in mash form, it is carried to the product warehouses. If the product will be in pellet or granule form, it is delivered to the pellet unit. Here, the product is treated with steam in conditioner and dampened, then it is passed through the pellet press, so the product gains the form of pellet. The product in the form of pellet is sent to the cooler. If the product cooled in the cooler for a while is required to be in pellet form, it is directly moved to the product warehouses. However, if the product is requested in granule form, it is crumbled in the crumbling machine and sent to the product warehouses.

PACKAGING AND LOADING
Product pesent in the product warehouses is divided into consignments of 50 kg, weighed on the  weighing machine and placed into sacks. Finally, products are loaded on the trucks and consigned to the customer or stockpiled in sacks.
