About CP Feed Industry
An international company and the largest feed producer of the world in the field of agricultural industry with its annual feed production of 16 million tons, the CP Group decided, after analyzing Turkey in terms of agricultural industry, that it would be contributory for the economy of the country which is dynamic, to operate in the field of its area of specialization namely, feed technology. Hence, CP Group established its first feed mill in 1986 , “CP Standart Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş”, in Inegöl and gave start to its operations in Turkey.
With its international technology and quality, CP Standart Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş is playing a vital role in developing both the feed sector and chicken meat sector, and continues to contribute to the economy of the country. With its major investments in broiler chick, poultry and cattle feed, chicken meat and further processed meat products in many countries of the world, CP Group is an international conglomerate which has been maintaining its activity in Turkey for 18 years with a steady growth.
Standing out with its feed quality in line with international standards, the company established feed mills in Turgutlu, 1989; in Ankara and Hendek, 1991; in Hayrabolu, 1992 and in Tarsus, 2004 respectively.
Today, the company maintains its years of leadership in feed sector through its annual feed production of 590,000 tons and market share of 10 %, and its feed production estimate for 2005 is 630,000 tons.
CP Group’s expert technical sales team composed of veterinary and agricultural engineers have been training producers on feeding and managementfor years, thus conducing to the development of stock-raising in Turkey.
